Graduated and Post Graduated from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Doctorate from Kerala Agriculture University, with fellowship of ICAR, Junior and Senior Research Fellowship, Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from Pondicherry Central University. Served as visiting faculty, examiner for PG & Ph.D. scholars at TNAU, MG University, MANAGE & GKVK. Got international training exposure in Taiwan Agricultural Research Institute (TARI), Taiwan, CEMAFROID, France, Wagningen University, The Netherlands, BIOFACH, Germany, FeBil, Switzerland. Peer reviewer for various national and international scientific journals. Participated in more than 50 international conferences and presented papers. Served as Principal Investigator of projects of ICAR, Govt. of India, Govt. of Kerala, DST, PPIC, Canada, NABARD, NHM, NMMP, Ayush, etc. Served as Advisory member of Endosulfan Group Meeting of Government of India representing Government of Kerala. Expert Member nominated by Government of Kerala to “National Policy on Rubber in the Ministry of Commerce, Government of India”. Expert Committee Member nominated by Government of India for High Value Horticulture in Lakshadweep Islands & Andaman Nicobar Islands. Served as Horticulture Consultant in Kingdom of Bahrain, and awarded as the best Agriculture consultant by H.E. King of Bahrain, Shaikh Ahemad Bin Isa Al Khalifa. Currently serving as National Scientific Panel Member of FSSAI, FDA, Ayush, Ministry of Health and Welfare, Govt. of India. Bestowed with many State and National awards as Scientist, Administrator, Best teacher, Academician, Reviewer Excellence Award, IEEE Award etc. Guided more than 20 M.Sc. and Ph.D. scholars and served as Advisory member for more than 20 research scholars. Handled more than 750 crore worth of Research and Development Projects in the State of Kerala.
