M. Tech Food Technology is a postgraduate program which is of a total 2 years’ duration, divided into 4 semesters. The candidates who have passed B. Tech in Food Technology or any equivalent stream can pursue a course in M. Tech Food Technology. Through this course, the students are provided with a curriculum of the advanced concept of Food Technology with in-depth theoretical and practical knowledge of Food Processing, Preservation, Packaging concepts and Research and Development.
M. Tech Food Technology course is an industry-oriented course that prepares students to handle jobs in food processing, food manufacturing, research laboratories and in industries that are similar to food processing. The various job options which the candidates can take after pursuing a degree in M. Tech Food Technology includes Production Manager, Project Manager, Plant Head, Purchase and Quality Control Manager, Research Scientist, Food Quality Assurance Technologist, Quality Manager.
