The layout of the campus has been conceived to meet the academic, administrative, sports/recreational, residential and other requirements of a growing University. Today 150 acres of it is a self-sustained lush green campus with rest of the area developed for academics, hostels, sports and other infrastructure facilitating student life. The campus is covered with a large number of age - old trees, which provide shade and beauty, and the peaceful surrounding make for a very invigorating environment for serious studies and research. It also houses academic institutes, hostels for boys and girls, indoor and outdoor sports complex, 15 buses being deployed for students’ commutation and their health care facility being met through a dedicated hospital and clinic on the campus and also at D.Y. Patil Medical College, if further medical intervention be needed.
Apart from syllabus-based learning, the College provides ample opportunity for participation in various co-curricular, extra-curricular activities and sports activities. Education at the campus has always been a focal point of interest thanks to the visionary zeal of the pioneers. The campus is successfully running three Agricultural colleges with B.Sc, B.Tech and Diploma Agri and a technical campus having engineering, management, polytechnic and Architecture College. The campus has over 3,000 students at present with 600 boarding students.
Growth Plans In the initial phase starting 2021, the campus is planning to establish 4 schools, under this university for UG, PG and Doctorate levels: School of Engineering & Technology
which will be targeting streams like computer science and engineering, artificial intelligence and machine learning, IoT, Block chain Technology & cyber security, data science, food tech, agricultural engineering, Robotics and automation& Mechatronics.
School of Design which envisages having 3 different categories including Product Design, Fashion & Design and Interior Design. School of Commerce & Management focusing on commerce, BBA with specializations (first of its kind in Central Maharashtra) like marketing & sales, retail management, hospitality management, finance & accounting and agro business management. School of Life SciencesThe group plans to start School of Life Sciences starting 2021, which will have 3 main areas, namely Bioinformatics, Biotechnology and Nanotechnology. The second phase commencing from late 2022 will have School of Pharmaceutical Sciences and School of Law

• Emphasis on Research based methodology Practical and research-based learning is an important component of education at the University. Most of the courses will be taught through real-life cases, designed to help bridge the gap between management theory and practice. • Student-centered Learning The university believes in student-centered learning, and focuses attention on explicit and detailed statements of what students learn: the skills, understanding and abilities students seek to develop in them and then test. The courses offer students an opportunity for continuous learning, so that their knowledge and skills remain current and relevant. • Experiential learningThe learning methodology adopted provides them the desire and the ability to seek, comprehend and internalize knowledge on a continuing basis, even after they complete the program. Students receive regular classroom instruction, which helps them to learn and internalize their understanding of subjects. They are exposed to the latest body of knowledge through the contemporary, market-oriented curriculum. Students are also encouraged to take up projects on contemporary topics as a part of their independent study.
• Learning ResourcesThe college has a 5000 sq.ft Central Library of its own where constant attempt is made to upgrade the reading list in each subject along with infrastructure. The completely automated open-source library houses around 5,000 titles and 10,000 volumes that come with barcoding for all titles and volumes. The digital library has 10 computers and students can access membership through NDL, DELNET and NPTEL. The Library is well-equipped with latest software packages and has comprehensive collections of books, CDs, videos, Indian and international journals/magazines and research reports, relating to management and allied subjects.
